Ukraine's acting interior minister said on Monday that authorities were in pursuit of the ousted president, Viktor F. Yanukovych, who is said to be in Crimea in the south of the country, and that he will be arrested on charges of mass murder in the killings of dozens of antigovernment protesters last week. Minister Arsen Avakaov, who was appointed by parliament on Saturday, wrote on his Facebook page that he was personally involved in the manhunt and had traveled to the Crimean city of Sevastopol on Sunday night hoping to intercept him at the airport, but the president had not turned up as expected. The now acting president said that Yanukovych had fled in an unknown direction. The security situations seem to have improved on Monday with regular law enforcement bodies and some antigovernment fighters sharing responsibility  for guarding government buildings and directing traffic. Mr. Yanukovych and his family got a great deal of wealth during his term and had access to at least  1 yacht that might ferry him out of the country.

They will celebrate thanksgiving the way they always do in oral tradition. A cornucopia of family. these are not restrained people who choose their words and pick there at their stuffing. These are people who have most of their meals in small chicken sized households. Their thanksgiving celebrations are as crowed with stories as their tables are with chairs. There are always leftovers too enormous to complete, that must be wrapped up and preserved. This meaning is suppose to be obvious and self- efficient. It is assumed that when we talk about family we are a talking about the same thing. That families are the same. For the past 8 years the chief defender of the American Family has lived in the White House. Every thanksgiving tables expand and contrast, place settings are removed and added. A guest from last year is a member this year. The ride to the airport has become a holiday ritual as common as pumpkin pie. We don't choose are relatives but choose to make family out of them.

Detroit- Grand Boulevard used to be one of the most stately streets in the motor city, a sweeping thoroughfare that circled what was once a thriving part of the inner city. This road  was sometimes known where General Motors  opened its first headquarters, along with Detroit's most beautiful neighborhoods. Decades later a drive down Grand Boulevard is a different story, especially at night. While the homes are still there some are divided up into apartments and others are just empty. The city planners installed streetlights to light what they viewed as a major gateway in central Detroit are mostly dark. Most of the lights have been this way for years. Now most of the light comes from either  car using there high beams to light up the empty roads or the glowing porch lights. Some residents are afraid to go out and see what they might run into in the dark. The city estimates that of the 88,000 streetlights at least half of them are out. As Detroit went into bankruptcy for and estimated 18 billion in debt the city could not afford to turn the lights back on let alone keep them on. the lighting department use to have 500 employees but now have only 85 with only 10 fixing the problems on the streets.

After around 35,000 lawsuits and 5 years the major record companies have ended their prodigious litigation campaign against music fans who shared songs online without the labels permission. As the recoding industry Assn. of America  or RIAA, shifts  to a less bare-knuckle approach to enforcing its rights. They hope that they will be able to profit from the activity that it cant seem to kill. Since the MP3 was developed major labels have been playing catch up. companies such as Universal music group, Sony, Warner music group, and EMI group. These companies sued the start-ups that were distributing file-sharing software, but then they only saw new ones replace them. These lawsuits were very blunt and they did a lot of damage on the wrong people. The industries hired investigators and they were not able to match the file sharing accounts to the active users. The RIAA ended up suing the account holders, and putting them in the mercy of law firm determined to extract compensation from someone if not the defendants themselves. Now the RIAA is working with New York's attorney general to deter piracy with out threatening families with financial ruin.

President Obama gave his State of the union address on tuesday evening. He reported that there has been economy growth, job growth, etc. reporters from the White House says that Obama has found a new method that he intends on usings referred to the "phone and pen method". This is stunning that the president is using this method this far into his term. This means that he is going to be making a lot of  phone calls and signing the executive orders. Reporters say that he wants to do this because republicans are "thwarting" the public will which leads our president to do this. in the ABC news pole before his Speech it said that only 37% said they had confidence in Obama's decision making compared to 67% from when he first started. Since the start of his presidency he has gone in a different direction. By Obama using the power of the pen method this means that he is going to go around congress and push any bill he wants to through under the executive order.
